His paintings are representations of daily life in contrasting tones of blues, bright reds, oranges and yellows; colours of the campos, the village houses, the trees and the surrounding mountains, brought to life by his signature haloed sun. Bidó called his art “the themes of daily life... the life of a vendor, a coal worker;” lives that he knew growing up. He wrapped his colors in thick bold lines; around the solemn faces of the women and men going about their daily routines. His style is unmistakable and instantly recognizable; a style representational of a land where bright colours and hard work are a way of life.Neville Legall is a Barbadian artist. Legall’s works in oil and watercolour capture the essence of Caribbean island life and culture, its opulent light and radiant colours. His work explores the shapes, colours and textures of the rural landscape, its rugged hills and village scenes. https://nevillelegall.comHomeInstagram | LinkTree | LinkedIn
